I can't recommend this enough! Great place, delicious food, very helpful and engaged staff We tried the local goat cheese , tuna , pork belly and imqaret. Everything was beautifully garnished, dressed and presented in the plates. The surroundings are pleasant and the vibe is great! Definitely look for this place, visit Floriana just to have a meal here!

Balzunetta is total gem! Really lovely, chilled vibe inside, with great music playing, and has a big outdoor seating area as well. I've been there twice now on my week long holiday in Malta and the food has been absolutely delicious each time. The slow cooked rabbit with mashed potato and imqaret with ice cream were my personal favourites (that rabbit melted in my mouth - so good!), but I also really enjoyed the woodfired pizza and tiramisu, all washed down with a glass of tasty house red wine. The staff are friendly and and service is quick for taking your initial drinks and food order, as well as the food coming out quickly, however, both times I had to try and get their attention to ask for the dessert menu when I'd been finished with my main course for 10 minutes or so (and the restaurant was quiet at that time) - just one very minor improvement point I will definitely come back next time I'm in Malta. Thank you!

We had looked around before we came to Valletta and the Balzunetta Restaurant came out a very highly recommended place to eat on line.and not one disappointment we booked. Dinner was delicious we had two different one's and required can we had half and half cut to share on our plates . Ham and mushroom one half and the other tuna and onion absolutely delicious with a lovely bottle of wine . Definitely recommend the tiramisu that was gorgeous could have had two so nice. Definitely recommend % yummy

I love the vibes of this place, simple, cozy, and traditional! I had the rabbit with potato purée and it was delicious :) The pizzas are also very good! The staff is always kind and the service is quite fast. Definitely recommended!

This restaurant was right across the street from our hotel and it was stifling hot to walk to Valetta, so we gave it a try. The pizza was excellent and quite large. The dish that was an assortment of Maltese delicacies was excellent. The salads are large. The restaurant was full, nevertheless the noise level was low. Overall an excellent dinner experience. You may consider reserving a table.

I had a vegan pizza and my partner had a meaty pizza. We both agreed this was one of the best pizzas we'd ever eaten in our lives. The wait staff were truly lovely. The atmosphere was low-key, laid back and lovely. A very good selection of wine (ended up going for the cheapest which was still absolutely heavenly and paired beautifully). Went for a pizza with aubergine, peppers, courgetteaand vegan mozzarella cooked Neapolitan style. Could not recommend this place enough, a truly luxurious experience.
